A man’s body has been found in a room of a downtown Winnipeg hotel…he was staying as a monthly guest through Health Canada and was undergoing medical treatment for an unspecified illness.

At about 4:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to a home in the 600 block of Toronto Street to find three injured teenagers. A 19-year-old man was stabbed to the lower body, a 19-year-old woman was assaulted to the upper body, and a 16-year-old woman was stabbed in the lower body.

Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man found unconscious in a bus shelter at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and Main Street yesterday evening.

The 57-year-old man was located at about 7 p.m. by emergency services, police said in a press release. He was unconscious and appeared to have suffered upper body injuries, police said.

The man was taken to hospital where he later died.
